It's because you don't have either an etpub client or some of your files are corrupt. Could you please post screen shots of your Enemy Territory folders here.
All that we need are these....
Program Files/Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory/ <- Screenshot the contents of the folder.
Program Files/Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory/etpub <- Screenshot the contents of the folder.
If you could do this it would be great and make it easier for us to help you out.

Once i got the same trouble.
R+D and Burgoo still remind i believe lol.
As R+D said to you take a screenshot of
Program Files/Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory/
Post it there (do you know how?)
Then we can see the folders inside ET.

easiest way to find your etpub is to click my computer and type into the search bar ETpub.
