I dunno why but i keep getting kicked for this:



I was only playing on Custom Maps yesterday? And did not have this issue.

This hapopened on SiLent TDM though.

I don't understand why though? All that has changed is i have reinstalled FRAPS on my pc :/

Although after reinstalling fraps on H*S NoDownload i am now seing this:









But Jeff said he sees the same thing on their? I have a theory NoDownload is stuffing up my ET?

I think it's your aimbot?

Have you tried restarting your pc. Teo days ago my ET became messed up and errored out at start up with a red flashing thing on the loading screen. I just said forget it and restarted my laptop and it has seemed to fix the problem, cause I havent had any issues since.

So, maybe try that?

last time i saw this was when back-seat drivers tried to use Longhorn (Vista Beta) along with PB ... [Beta/RC/1/2/etc. = unsupported. The same goes for W7 RCx ... just in case]

*google suggests*> Open Control Panel --- > Administrative Tools
Open ”Services”, locate and right click on ”Application Information”, click on properties, there set ”Startup type” to "Automatic" and click on "Start".

The above has NOT fixed the issue.

do you use windows 7? i think the api error is a known one for windows 7 and older version of pb, i cant remember if they fixed it with an update. try updating 3 times with pbweb and then 3 times with pbsetup and see if the problem persists.

Well believe it or not... I have infact got win7.

And i updated my PB hoping this would fix the issue then came on here and you said the same thing lol.

Although it said my PB was up-to-date :/

Anyways after i dunno maybe it reminds the PC i have PB idfk tbh. But it now works.

thats good, yeh it was a huge issue back when win7 was released, affecting the GA ladder a lot until it was fixed.

This has something to do with et minimizer. Do you have vid restart in your .cfg??? Sometimes if you minimize your ET then change back you can get this PB error. But when you flick back to ET and run a vid restart you should be good to go.

I have vid_restart in cfg... YES! How else will my R_gamma take effect .

I mayh have done a minise? I cannot remeber? But like after the first warning it didnt stop saying it. If you check your logs itd say it prob kicked me bout 6 or 7 times for it?.
